Keep up to date with Prime Environment
We can undertake any ecological assessment you need for a wide range of species and habitats.
Most of our work is in relation to development, and our reports are written with planning approval in mind. We can also obtain licences on your behalf for mitigating impacts to European Protected Species (we even do this on behalf of other ecological consultancies).
Call us if you need more information on newts, water voles, bats, dormice, badgers or any other protected species.
The Institute that all our ecology staff are members of, CIEEM, has produced some useful advice on how to engage an ecologist. You can download it here.

Surveys for hazel dormouse using nut searching and nesting tube techniques.
We have offices in Cambridge and Derby, and field bases in Buckinghamshire, Essex and Yorkshire, allowing us to work across the UK.
